Terms & Conditions

Welcoming you to our apartments, we will show you the rules of our home. The following rules are an integral part of the booking form and are accepted at the time of confirmation.

1. Booking

  • During the check-in is required  the charge of the amount related to the tourist tax (not included ) calculated according to the tables of the Municipality of Venice and based on the number and age of the guests, as well as on the number of nights of the stay.

2. Cancellation policies

The cancellation policies applied are those specified in the portal booking through which the booking was made.

3. Check-in & check-out

Check-in
  • From 15:00 to 20:00. 
  • Upon arrival the guest will be pre-authorized on the credit card of 200.00 Euros as a security deposit which will be released following check-out except for any damage caused to the property.
  • The payment of the city tax is required by cash. 
  • Check-in is organized in advance and will be managed by an employee who will meet guests. In case of delays at check-in for reasons not directly attributable to the Guest, the same is, in any case, required to promptly inform the Staff. 
  • For arrivals between 20:00 and 22:00 there is a supplement of 50.00 Euros.
  • Check-in from 22:00 is not guaranteed and must be agreed in advance. For arrivals organized from 22:00 to 00:00 there is an extra charge of €100.00.
  • Check-ins from 00:00 to 7:00 are not managed.
  • The early check-in service is only allowed if there is availability, and in any case subject to authorization by the Host, with the payment of an additional price
Check-out
  • The apartments must be vacated no later than 10:00 am on the day of departure.
  • Late check-out must be agreed with the Host and is a service that depends on availability so it is not always guaranteed. An additional price of 20.00 Euros is required if check-out is made before 13:00 and 100.00 Euros if it is made by 20:00 on the day of check-out.
  • Any extras due for early or late check-in/out must be paid to the check-in agent. In the event of a refusal by the guest to pay for the late check-in service, the agent reserves the right not to hand over the keys of the property to the guest. In this case, the guest will not be entitled to a refund of any amount paid, with the Host reserving the right to claim compensation for any damage or prejudice. The Host also warns that, if forced, the staff will promptly alert the police.

4. Damages

  • Any damage to the equipment and furnishings of the apartment caused by guests will be charged to the culprits. Guests will also be charged for all staff interventions due to negligence, inexperience in the use and / or custody of the goods. In these cases the cost of the intervention is € 50.00 plus the costs related to the restoration of the situation. 
  • In case of failure to return the keys to the apartments, a penalty of € 150.00 will be applied to the missing keys. All Venetian Mood apartments are non-smoking. If at check-out the staff finds the smell of smoke in the house, the guest will be charged a penalty of € 150.00 for the greater cleaning costs necessary to eliminate the smell from upholstery, furniture and curtains.

5. Responsibility for things or people

  • The Host declines all responsibility for any accidents to adults and minors, who must be accompanied by their parents and / or carers. The Host is not liable for theft, loss and damage to valuables and objects; therefore it is suggested not to leave valuables unattended inside the apartments and to use the safety box therein.

6. Suspension of supplies

  • In case of suspension of the electricity supply (water, gas, internet, etc.) for reasons not attributable to the Host, but to the manager of electricity or water networks, or for other causes of force majeure, the Host declines any liability and no reimbursement is required.

7. Behavioral rules

  • Guests are required to respect the condominium spaces, the elevator,and not to disturb, especially during quiet hours from 23:00 to 7:00, other condominiums and, more generally, to the neighborhood.
  • The guest is requested to dispose of waste correctly, which will be explained during check-in.
  • Adults are responsible for the behavior of the children entrusted to them. The guest is obliged to respect the rules. Anyone who violates these rules will be charged € 50.00.
  • Wrong and disrespectful behavior towards both the spaces and the things present in the apartment as well as towards things and the condominium spaces, guests must vacate the apartment. In this case the expelled guest will not be entitled to any refund of the amount paid, subject to the Host himself claiming compensation for any damages and prejudice.
  • Similarly, episodes of serious disrespect towards the Host or his staff or the other inhabitants of the building will be treated.

8. Pets

  • Venetian Mood does not accept pets in all facilities. During booking, it is therefore essential to inform the Host of the presence of pets and their size. If an pet is brought into the apartment without prior authorization, the host has the right to refuse the stay and to retain the full cost of the stay.

9. Cleaning

  • The linen change and the cleaning of the accommodations are obligatory and will be carried out by the Host every 7 days without additional payment.
  • At the time of check-out, the guest is not required to clean the apartment but is obliged to dispose of the garbage in accordance with the provisions of art. 7 of this REGULATION. In case of non-disposal of waste at the time of check-out, a penalty of € 30.00 will be charged.

10. Payment of penalties

  • In case of accrual of penalties, for any reason due, the Host will keep the relative amount from the security deposit paid, returning the Guest the difference in the terms referred to in art. 3. In case of failure of the security deposit, the Guest will be required to pay the difference due no later than the day of departure.

ATTENTION: In case of non-cooperation or refusal to pay for the damage caused by you, we will use the tools provided by the booking platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, VRBO) to request compensation for the damage at your expense.
